Collagen Induction Therapy or Micro-Needling —
Collagen Induction Therapy is based on the skin’s ability to heal itself whenever it encounters physical injury. At Beauty Essentials we use the Dermapen4 which causes less trauma and has minimal epidermal (skin) damage, therefore reducing pain and discomfort, making it a safer more effective treatment. The Dermapen4 uses multiple needles causing pinpoint micro injuries or channels in the skin. This triggers the body’s natural wound healing process. As a result, new collagen and elastin is formed to reduce wrinkle depth, increase skin elasticity and improve the appearance of scars and pigmentation.
